On your Mac, to update your font in the operating system, you can follow these steps:

• Open the Font Book application on your Mac.
• In the Font Book menu, choose "File" > "Add Fonts." A window will appear.

Note : Alternatively, you can drag the font file and drop it onto the Font Book icon in the Dock. This will also start the installation process.

• Find the font file: Locate the font file you want to install, typically with a .ttf or .otf extension.
• Double-click the font file: Open the font file by double-clicking on it.
• Font Book opens: Font Book, the default font management application on macOS, will automatically open.
• Install the font: In Font Book, click the "Install Font" button to install the font.

• Verify the installation: Open any application that uses fonts and check if the font appears in the font selection options.
